This is my/our fish, Xray.
I've had him for 2 years.
This morning one of us noticed that he didn't look very good.
We said our goodbyes since we assumed he'd be dead by the end of the day (especially since he'd already lived longer than any of us expected)....
Then I decided to play fish doctor and I googled the red color that had developed on the end of his tail.
I found out I gave him a disease by not cleaning his tank called Tail Rot.
Oops.
So, (and don't laugh) but I went to Petco and bought $3 medicine to give him for his tail rot....
We'll see if he lives.
