This amazing film was waiting for me when I picked up my parent's birthday package today!
When Polaroid film discontinued in 2008, the Impossible Project began, trying to recreate Polaroid photos, under a new name, using different chemicals, but keeping the same shape so to be used in the previous, Polaroid cameras.
The first line of film was recently launched & I was so excited to see it sitting in my my "birthday box" today! The new, monochrome film is termed "silver shade" due to the lack of color processing knowledge at the moment. I love the monochrome look & the development uncertainties because it has a similar feel to the photos I love of my parents from the '60s.
