It's orientation day for Hunter & my parents.
He's all grown up and gettin set for the college life!
I joined the fun on our 3 hour road trip to Knoxville because well, I had nothing else to do, so why not?
But I got bored quite quickly & rather than sitting through an 8AM-6PM day of orientation meetings, I ventured out to try and see what Hunter's off campus college experience will look like these next few years.
I ran across a couple geo-caches.
(okay, so maybe this won't be part of Hunter's
off campus experience, but it was fun anyhow)
and then I stumbled upon the greatest thrift store ever created.
(Again, probably not something Hunter's likely to spend his evenings doing, but hey, I had a really great afternoon. A lot more fun than sitting in meetings that mean nothing to me...AND I left with a super cute vintage leather clutch so it was a well spent afternoon in my book)
Tomorrow is day 2 of fun orientation meetings...

your parents look so happy... to be getting rid of all the kids in their house?
How can you tell Kate????
JK! They are already missed, just happy to know that at least one of them will be able to drive home every now and again.
I do, however, miss you Kate. Come back again soon please....

It is a good thing we did not make it to this store Meghan, because I would have spent WAY too much $$$$. So cute. Will try and make a trip to Nostalgia next time.
Thanks for joining us on this 2 day adventure.
yeah except now i'm back to square one with knob finding. my dresser looks naked.
